The WhatsApp website, which specializes in WhatsApp and brings the news that is being deployed to the Facebook messaging app, has tested the WhatsApp Android version number 2.19.348 and shared that the functionality of sending self-destructive messages in groups is being developed.

The new version of the app submitted as part of Google's testing program shows that Whatsapp is testing the functionality of sending group messages that will be automatically deleted after a certain period of time. The function, which can only be used by the group administrator, gives the possibility to delete the message one hour and even one year after it has been sent, as shown in the image below.
Another feature under development for Whatsapp is dark mode, which is already ready for this feature and should be fully integrated into Android soon.
Automatically deleted messages in groups have not yet been finalized in the final version of the app, but may be interesting in groups where the information is from something that has a subscription period or relevance only on a specific date. A selection process message, for example, can be set to end shortly after the subscription period ends.
Recently, also for groups, the app has received an update that introduces new privacy controls, making it possible to limit who can add you to chats.
