Dois novos jogos de Pokémon são lançados no Facebook Gaming

Two new Pokémon franchise games have been released exclusively for the Facebook Gaming platform, something unheard of in the history of the series. The titles – which are called Pokémon Tower Battle and Pokémon Medallion Battle – involve mechanics that resemble Tetris and Card Games, respectively.

The problem seems to be related to the MIUI and the game's anti-cheat system.

Only Pokémon Tower Battle that is available worldwide. In this game, two players face each other. Each turn, a Pokémon falls from the sky like a block of Tetris. It is up to users to try to build a tower that is stable.

If your tower falls or one of the Pokémon falls off the platform, you lose the game. According to the website The Verge, is a proposal that initially does not draw much attention and does not require much of the player.

But the promise is that as you play, new features will be unlocked. This is because as you progress through the game, you will encounter and capture rarer Pokémon, increasing the challenge.

Already Pokémon Medallion Battle is only available in the Philippines at the moment, but seems to have a greater depth for its mechanics. This is because the medallions mentioned in the title work as if they were cards from a traditional card game.

These pieces may have their level increased and evolve. The player can still face gym leaders to earn badges and capture different medallions to complete his Pokédex. Facebook's promise is that each time new Pokémon will be added to the game.

"Launching these games through Facebook will allow people around the world to experience Pokémon in a digital format, and we are especially excited to collaborate with Facebook Gaming to enable new audiences to enjoy online Pokémon games."
Tsunekazu Ishihara, CEO of Pokémon Company
