Electronics maker Philips would be working on new external models of Hue smart lamps, including upgrades to existing products and completely new options for the brand's portfolio. The lamp entry kit, the Starter Kit, has a suggested retail price of $ 499.
With this, the Philips Hue division would be working on a major expansion to its list of products available to consumers. New features include Philips Hue Nyro, an angle lamp that can be purchased as a road lighting model or as a wall lamp.
There is also the Hue Resonate, which is a box that shines light up and down the wall. Hue Appear is a tubular version of Resonate – and there are also new Daylo (circular) and Attract (which has a transparent lamp) wall options. The Philips Hue Lily garden lamp will have its enhanced visual design, even gaining a larger size option. Called Lily XL, this option is about 12cm wider than the original option. It is also capable of generating 1,200 lumens, nearly double the base model's 640 lumens.
