GoPro recently released a new enhanced lighting module for its Hero 8 Black action camera. The accessory is waterproof, rechargeable and compatible with all GoPro brand holders.
The module has LED light and promises to illuminate any object with broad and uniform light. In addition, it is Hero 8 Black's first modular accessory designed to enhance the content production and vlogging of its users.
In this sense, the illumination module will be connected to the camera via the new Media Module, which has a built-in directional microphone, USB-C, HDMI ports and a 3.5mm external microphone adapter. This bracket also allows you to change the position of the lighting module, connect other lights, microphones or LCD screens.
The 360 camera has a touchscreen and the Hero 8 has a new accessory case
"(…) The new module can be used as a super convenient and" wearable "accessory with the wide range of existing GoPro mounts as they are all compatible with the modules. Use as a" headlight "with the Headband, like a float with the Floating Rod, or as a belt light with the new Magnetic Swivel Clip, among many other possibilities (…). " – GoPro.
The new lighting module for the GoPro Hero 8 Black is now available in the United States for $ 50 and will hit the global market in the coming weeks. The Media Module will go on sale in early January for $ 80 and will begin shipping at the end of the month.
