New leaks about the next member of the Galaxy S line have already begun to appear. According to the famous Leaker publication UniverseIce on Twitter, the Galaxy S11 + will have a 108 MP sensor with Bayer 9 to 1 technology. In addition to publishing about the technology, he also made another tweet showing a possible design for the device.
If the design information is confirmed, Samsung shows that it will adopt something already known, without major variations. It will be similar to the intermediate and input lines, the Galaxy A and M. That is, a rectangle on the left side of the device with three lenses. The set is highlighted in a black background rectangle.
According to Leaker, the top lens of the smartphone is an ultra-wide, or wide-angle. She is responsible for taking pictures with a wider field of view due to the wider angle she is able to capture. The second, which is in the center of the lens, is the main sensor. It which will be chosen as default when the user opens his camera will also be responsible for producing sharper pictures. The third, and last photo sensor, is a periscope type, which will be used as support for zoomed photos.
If the main lens is even 108 MP, using Bayer 9 to 1, that means each output will actually be 12MP. That's because technology uses individual pixels combined, so it can use a larger area and produce more detailed images. To explain the math, nine pixels will come together to produce one, the end result will be a size of 2.4? M, producing 12MP final images, but with 108MP information capture. This means that photos will be sharper as they will capture more details. If the leak is confirmed, the Galaxy S11 + can have the clearest photos taken by any smartphone ever made.
