Apple, Netflix e Amazon recebem indicações ao Globo de Ouro

Apple launched the Apple TV Plus streaming service, and despite the warm reception, one of the platform's productions stood out at the Golden Globe. The exclusive series The Morning Show was nominated for best drama and also had its two protagonists, Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, appearing in the category of best actress.

In addition to featuring the two stars already mentioned, the production also features the presence of actor Steve Carell, who has already won the award for his work in The Office. The Morning Show follows the routine of a United States television program. The attraction can be seen in Brazil through the Apple TV Plus, which is available in the country for R $ 10 and has seven days free trial.

Netflix and Amazon also stand out

In addition to Apple, other famous streaming companies have also gained prominence in Golden Globe nominations. Netflix received 17 nominations thanks to productions such as The Crown series and Martin Scorsese's The Irishman. Another highlight is the feature film Two Papas, distributed by the company and directed by the Brazilian Fernando Meirelles, nominated for an Oscar for Cidade de Deus.

Amazon also excelled at awards for Prime Video productions and received eight nominations. The company's main critical hit is Fleabag, who is competing in the category for best music series or comedy. The protagonist and director Phoebe Waller-Bridge is also in contention for the best actress figurine, while Andrew Scott vies for the supporting actor award in the division.
